Why would he need to do anything after that.

11minutes later

"Mr. president a second plane crashed into the WTC we beleive we are under a terrorist attack"

Time for action.

Keep digging my friend

Keep digging? How long do you think these 2 planes were being tracked before they impacted the WTCs?? Have you done any reading on protocal for airliners that unexpectedly divert from their normal flight path?? Notice I wrote 2, not 1.. There is a protocal and it goes very high in the chain of command.. With 2 planes diverted and essentially out of control, it could be known as fact the country was under attack after the first impact.. Infact, many high level officals were following protocal that day. Many were not.. This is just ignoring the 3rd and 4th planes..

Eagler, did you ever wonder what got that hate cycle started? I'm more concerned with finding a way to turn it off.

Pongo, that whole psuedo-issue of what the President did during the first few minutes of the 9-1-1 attack never was of any significance. The Bush administration's decisive response to the terrorist attack is prima facie evidence.

I think you got out all the juice to be had in the first week it hit the internet, and that was months ago. Isn't it about time to pull that wad of of used gum out of your mouth and stick it on the bedpost?  Or are you trying to make it last until November??

I think it has longer legs then you give it credit for.  Some people do care that Bush left the US so open to attack and then responded like a slack jawed idiot when it happend.
If you dont care then thats your issue.

who is confused? besides you ....

Gunthr - they rather talk about that than the actions Bush took including grounding the entire airline fleet which prevented additional attacks

Stop spewing non-sensical bull**** w/ no basis in fact.

How exactly did Bush leave the U.S so wide open to attack?

The sad thing is we will never know if any lives could have been saved because he stayed to find out if Curious George found his way home to the Man in the Big Yellow Hat.

anything else and the cry from the lefties would be that he "panicked!"

face it, he can do no right - everything he does is wrong and grates on your last nerve

face it, you only have four years and 5 months more to whine about him - LOL

why did boosh say (on video tape, in front of a live audience) that he saw the first plane go into WTC tower #1 and THEN go speak to the kids?

If you remember, that tape of the first plane crash did not surface until the 12th.

I'm guessing you brainiacs haven't seen this little gem (yet)?
