Where To Buy A Gun

Oh yeah, M1 Garnards will be very hard to find and I guess I have to go Gun Show to see if they have any M1 G for sale.

Go to Wal-Mart and buy a copy of the Shotgun News. There is usually an ad on the front page for M1 Garands through the goverment. I think you can get one in really good shape for around $500. You can also find just about any other military rifle in there as well. Those Romanian AK-47s for less than $300 are a good deal. Nice little rifle. The BAR is going to cost you out the bellybutton though. Its around $3000 for a semi-auto.

Ahhh....refreshing to see the old BGB is back with us.  The kinder gentler one was pretty pathetic.

My brother had a Colt 45 issued by the Navy.  He was a Lt. Commander.

He said he didn't like it because it pinched his hand.  He sold it for $200.:)

Is that civilian marksmanship program still alive? I fired a qualification with the M1 about 15 years ago at my local gun club. They had info on ordering them from the Fed arsenals for about $120, but at the time I didn't feel like waiting 8-10 months to receive it. Man, have I ever been kicking myself in the pants since then.
