MT... it is not possible to be fiscally conservative and socialy liberal.

Gutting the military to fund neverending expensive social programs is not being fiscally conservative... it is not even being fiscally responsible since the costs are carried on forever..

redtail..As for Jessie being a better governor... How would you know? What would you base it on? Arnie has not been in long enough to judge but... he sure started out right in my book....

went for equality for the indians so far as taxes go and... Called all the democrat girlymen.... girlymen..

I think "socially liberal" is not referring to social programs (welfare and other money-related things). It refers to things like allowing/supporting gay marriage, eliminating censorship, eliminating victimless crime, etc.

In that sense, it is possible to be both.

What about the rest of California...don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the guy, but I would guess that he's probably being told what to say and parrots very well.

Probably the best acting he's done in awhile.
