Is there anyone willing to make a custom skin for the Bf-110C's of ZG26?  I'd like to use it for the upcomming Battle of Britain.

I've got a color scheme and insignias and would be FOREVER greatful.  Possibly some monetary compensation??

Funny you should say that.  The top picture was taken over the coast of Libya.  :)

So you're saying the skin already exists?  Minus the shield, of course.

How much?  A 3-piece crispy chicken meal at KFC.  ;)

You know what? I'll give it a shot. I need to finish up my 109 real fast, so if anybody else wants to give it a go, go for it! But the only one I'm working on right now is the 9./JG54 one (I have plans, but this is teh only one in progress)

Do you know, however, if the badge was "mirrored" in real life on the other side of the nose? Or if it was flipped around (same image? Or a different image for each side?)

I honestly don't know.  And there simply aren't enough photos specific to ZG26.  I'll research a bit more and find out.

It appears, BTW, that the I./ZG26 used this marking instead.

The one I posted first is the markings of the entire Zerstoerer Geschwader and not the specific gruppe.

Research continues.

 Depends.

If the emblem was a specific shape containing letters or numbers, certain recognizable symbols then it won't be 'mirrored'.

Otherwise if it was a shape without any problems concerning its direction then it was entirely up to the decorating person.

That's about what I gathered while looking at pics.  Some planes, even those that were in the same Gruppe, didn't "match" in that way.  Some had them on both sides, others just the left.  *shrug*

Polaris, you said you wanted it for the BOB campaign? ... But it's not a BOB scheme... It's a Mediterranian scheme. I can work on it but I dunno if HTC will accept it specifically for the BOB (then again I dunno how that works either).

P.S. When does the skin have to be done?

Hi Krusty,

Yeah I know about the theme.  Unfortunately, those are the only colors I can find for the ZG26.  :(  I dunno.  Maybe just keep the current theme and add the Gruppe's insignia?  For simplicity's sake?

BoB starts Aug. 1st.
