I was laughing outloud listening to Joey of Slipkniot try to play all the Metallica fills, comedy gold. When in doubt doublebass to keep the beat.

Slipknot are starting to get realy popular here.....never heard it myslef i think

They seriously should have died in a plane crash in the mid 90's when people still thought they were good. I wouldn't wish this slow miserable decline on any celebrity figure.

Metallica did die....they died the day after there Justice tour ended. Aliens invaded and took over Lars. He corrupted the band and turned them into limp wristed sissys!

you are all wrong...

bob rock (producer of bon jovi for cod's sake) killed them all while making the black EP, and replaced them with robots like in bill and ted's bogus journey.
I don't know what to put here yet.

LOL.....very well.....then where did he put the REAL Metallica? Did he put them on ice and save them for a rainy day? Or was the real Lars the Gimp in Pulp Fiction?

Wow... totally forgot that there was no room for hyperbole on the internet.  Everyone takes the 'written' word too seriously for sarcasm.

I know the guy who had to refashion Lars' studio drumming into acceptable, workable tracks on the last few albums. Talk about an editing nightmare. The guy is a sloppy, brutal drummer... Can't comment on the music itself because it aint my thing, but I agree with Creamo - they did have a huge effect.
