Karnak, it is one 1024x1024 texture for the external shape.

Excellent.  That should make it a little bit easier to skin.  Thanks!

Considering we now have the B-24 what limitations will there be on skins?  I've got a book full of skins but majority of them are very risque.

GRUNHERZ,

I expect that the B-17 will be notably more durable.  The Lancaster very well may be noticably more durable.

SUPERFLY,

Thanks for the reply.  It looks very, very nice.  I certainly wouldn't have guessed it had a single 1024x1024 texture on it.

United & Mitsu,
Thanks for the info.

Just thought about something...why would SUPERFLY announce this just prior to the CON?  I thought this would be big news for the CON participants to enjoy before the rest of us.

Could there be some OTHER big news on the way?!?  :D

TBolt A-10,

I've never known HTC to hold back on this kind of info and just give it to tjose lucky enough to be able to make the Con.  Con goers will get a look at what direction HTC is planning and there is usually a secret Con mission.

But units that are already locked in they share with everybody once they are far enough along to show us.

Wow, just what we needed... another 4 engine U.S. bomber.  I don't mean to rain on everyone else.  I just enjoy more of the historical aspects found in the CT and this is a step sideways not forward.

It's an airplane that WILL GET USED in the M.A. & scenarios where 99.9% of AH members fly.  :)   Sorry to hear that you're disappointed.
