Picked mine up today. I'll get a full review up this weekend. So far it seems very nice!

If only HT could give us a joystick band for ZOOM...the slider would be perfect for it!

What I want to know is does it fit your hand better then the original.
That band that goes over your hand specifically?

im very interested on how people rate this...my X45 is dying and i need a new stick (im a saitek guy....) and well im waiting on the results of X52 flyers.......

Depth is the same, but the ADJUSTABLE height of that part is increased a good inch or so for larger hands......but keeps it good for smaller hands with the pinky and palm rest adjusting up and down.

Was checking out the site... It says the rudder is in the stick now, "twisty-stick" deal??? I'm still not used to the throttle rudder on the 45, so when I get back from England I might just pick this puppy up...

From Saitek: "non-contact technology on X and Y axes", so I'd say it's optical, not using pots.

Yes. Just pick the trim you want to set and map it to "Rotary 1" (or Rotary 2, etc.) in the joystick selection in AH.

Does it have slack between upper and lower part of the stick, does it have slack if you twist it?

How much slack there is when measured from the highest part of the stick in X- and Y-axes?

Does the hat switches have the same feel as the X-45(it had ****ty microswitches)?

I'll buy it at once if I'm certain that I don't need to spend hours to tweaking it and voiding it's warranty.
