We should also see the completed P-IV-G, Stug IIIG, Sherman, and Crusader III operational in game by then.

Plus there will be major changes towards their new "Brigade Spawning" goal.

Any other goodies - I'm not sure.
I think that it.....I'm sure that is it and I have seen a nice screen shot of FW 190A-4!

I played late last year and enjoyed the ground war. The air war is largely a waste of time and effort, but most people know that, The battle in the fields are unsurpassed in any game.

You get some genuine 'Wow!' moments. The graphics are dated, but functional - the only thing that annoys is the un-FPS view system with the infantry and some of the more annoying bugs. I guess they are fixing each as time goes on.

The comms system is abysmal, and like Vulcan says, the only way to do it is to have teamspeak on.

The only problem is the game requires alot of free time to get the most out of it at the moment. Lot's of travelling around involved, if you want to find the big fights. Hopefully they will remedy this soon.

Overall, it's worth a look.

Hmmm....A little bit of fantasy in WW2OL?  The French never received shipment of the variant of the P-38 they had ordered.  The fall of France pretty much cancelled it and the British took over the order.

Quote

* Orders were already in hand from France, Britain, and the USAAC. The French and the British ordered a total of 667, with a "Model 322F" for the French and a "Model 322B" for the British. Each of these variants had unique minor equipment fits tailored for their respective air arms, such as metric measurements on the flight indicators for the French aircraft, but they both shared a major change from all other P-38 variants that were ever made: the superchargers were to be deleted, and the left-handed and right-handed engine arrangement was to be changed to twin right-handed engines.

As superchargers were a new technology, the Anglo-French purchasing commission that ordered the fighters was concerned that the superchargers might lead to delays, and felt that as the aircraft were intended for medium-altitude combat the superchargers would not be needed. The requirement for the sole use of right-handed engines was for commonality with the large numbers of Curtiss Tomahawks both nations had on order. Lockheed engineers protested strongly against this decision, and privately labeled the variant the "castrated" P-38.

After the fall of France in June 1940, the British took over the entire order. They decided that only the first 143 of the order would be delivered in the castrated format, as "Model 322 Lightning Is", with the remaining 524 to be delivered with superchargers and left and right-handed engines, as "Model 322 Lightning IIs".

IIRC, the F-4/5 was the only variant of the P-38 that the Free French Forces flew.

Yeah everyone is really helpful.  Most even seem willing to help bump up noobs ranks with multicrewing.

How often do people let noobs join them in AH?

Might be because more ranked player in the field = more better equipment in the field?

playing Allies as a lone-wolf is NOT recommended, the teamwork in Allies really sucks like no other...

I switch from time to time, there is no better teamwork then Axis...

example:

grab a PAK38 or 88 axis and call need TOW....10 seconds later you get towed...

go allies and try again....3 hours later you're still screaming for a tow

you gotta be in a squad for Allies or forget it...

planes just make me wanna puke...its so bad it ain't funny

why I miss AH...
