Pretty much in there as gamebreakers for ******* who seriously can't fight... even the Spitfire and La7 are to "hard" for them.. so they hold the trigger down for 5 or 6 minutes while aiming into a fight within a sector of a CV and get some kills.

Truly amazing bull****.  

For chrissakes, I thought this was supposed to be a FLYING game, not a ****ing AAA simulator for numb ****s to ****ty to even master the easymode planes.

I agree totally Urchin and would like to add that it sucks that we can't get kills on them. If you take out their gun or their ship you should get kill(s) for it. Nor should they get to land their kills if they die. The gunner thing is one of the worst things about the game IMO. That and the AI's magically targetted heavy AA.

This game has taken to pandering chicken****s in a HUGE way.. I mean.. the ****ing 5 inch guns have basically auto-aim (the icon gives you the range, the GUN tells you the range you are aiming), kill on a near miss.. you don't even have to be able to HIT with the thing.  Just get within 100 yards or so, instakill.  

Bu.. Bu.. But they are only used to PROTECT the CV!!  Bull****.  at least 1/4 of the kills of the pussack is on fighters that are just fighting other fighters.  

I understand that not everyone is going to be any good at this game.  HT makes it easy enough.. you've got the one hit kill flak***** (although you at least have to HIT with that), the one hit kill manned ack (again.. you have to HIT).. the 5 inch gun takes pandering to sissies a bit over the top for my tastes.  

Either take away the autoaim or make it so you actually have to HIT with the ****ing thing, not merely get within 100 yards.

Wonder if they can apply kill shooter to the 5" guns?  Maybe that will let 'em pick off the high buffs but not fire into a furball.

Not suggesting that  the CV would sink from KS, but maybe the gunner's turn would be up for a few minutes.

I think score actually records kills of manned ack guns (only if it's manned). At least innomi.com shows that I killed 1 ship gunner ;)

No pity party being thrown here

Rule #1 stay out of fights that are within Cv ack range unless your intent is to attack the CV itself or you are flying in support of those attacking the CV itself.
