It's the game, it's just a game, and a very fine one if you ask me.
Would you like to go back to the old days of lazer guided ack? I mean you flew near a CV you died. Period. No Lancs could have made a successful low alt attack on a CV.
You can get angry, or you can adapt, improvise, and overcome.
When I fly fighter, I usually avoid fights near CV's. When I defend a CV, I take a 5"gun. Sorry that I don't up a fighter at the CV to get swarmed by attackers who come in with alt. I don't up on vulched fields either. I adapt to the game rather than demand the game adapt to me.
Ack is part of the game, I hate it as much as I do GV's. But I don't tell people not to defend a field with Flack Panzers or M16's. They play their way, I play mine. I rarely attack GV's as I don't carry bombs or rockets. I don't like to JABO, but I don't call guys who JABO a less of a player than I am.
My style is that I am a fighter pilot, I consider all other planes to be targets. I fly a 190A8. I fly high, fast, and attack only when I have the advantage. Most people would find that type of flying boring. But it is how I like to play this game, and I couldn't care spit if others don't like it. In fact I kind of like being the AK "Bad Boy", have been for almost 7 years now
I am a low-life-snake in the grass, razor-toting scumbag, and I wouldn't play any other way. But I also couldn't care less how you play. Don't listen for me on channel 200, I don't go there.
As I said, all other planes are targets
