It's working fine. You need to use the most recent links in the past couple of pages. My old material is (thankfully) no longer accessible.

So there is less confusion, I've added all appropriate download links below.

Allison V-1710 Pack
BMW 801 Pack
Daimler-Benz DB600 Series Pack
Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Pack
Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Pack
Rolls Royce Griffon Pack
Rolls Royce Merlin Pack
Wright R-1820 Pack
Effects Pack

As I have yet to find authentic, free source material for the Jumo 211/213 (that being said, I can't even find payware source material), the DB600 series works as a more than adequate placeholder.

Rolls Royce Merlin Pack updated.

Rolls Royce Merlin Pack

Fixed a lack of bass intensity in the cockpit sounds. The new sounds have much more authority than the previous version.

Daimler-Benz sounds updated.

Daimler-Benz DB600 Pack

Source material had internal startup/shutdown and idle/1500rpm sounds recorded with cockpit windows open. Gentle high cuts and reverb processing were used to fix this.

R-2800 and Griffon packs updated.

Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Pack
Rolls Royce Griffon Pack

Cleaned up the startup/shutdown sounds for the R-2800; cleaned up the internal engine sound for the Griffon, which displayed a definite loop artifact.

Use the latest links in these last few pages. Think of these threads as a sort of Source Forge development process. Once I feel that this series of packs is absolutely without need for improvement, I will start a new thread and denote final pack versions.

This confuses me. What happened to the pretty little, easy to follow, folder names?  :(

What goes where?  :headscratch:   (It's the same with the 2800)

Oh. Ahem.

Accidentally uploaded my FSX packs. Not sure how it happened, since Zippyshare had the default upload location set to my AH packs... odd. I'll have it fixed. Don't delete what you downloaded, though. It's a nice preview in case you ever get FS2004 or FSX. Notice how smooth the transitions are between RPM levels.

That being said, it's amazing what you can miss when you haven't eaten all day.

Do I have to download all the stupid freeware garbage to get the Merlin Sound Pack?   I can't seem to get the .rar to DL without some stupid ad popup.   I miss when the internet was simple! :)
