I have 13 kills in a PT boat, but I still have 0 Vehicle perk points, is this correct.

inorder to get perks u have to actually hit the planes you get credit fer killing.

If a plane dives in kills a pt then augers it may give you a "manuver" or "proximity" kill. but if you dont get pings on it you gets no perkies.

ok so let me explain this to you, I'm in my pt, I go out to sea and there it is an enemy pt. Only the two of us one on one, bang bang bang, we shoot, his ship blows up. Looks like a kill to me. the site says I have 13 kills with a pt and I get no credit. I have kills in bombers and fighters and I have perks for those kills,so why am I so unlucky with pt boats, and I have the most kills with pt boats. something is seriously wrong here.

Waaaaaaaa!!!

anyway I still love this game its fun, only my 4th day playing hehe.

I think the problem is that the PT is a boat not a vehicle. If you want Vehicle perks, grab a panzer, osty, M16, m8. Get some kills, and you'll see some perks.

If you check the scores in the site, they have this

bombers fighters attack vehicles/boats

they have boats and vehicles in one catagory, so if I get a kill with a boat I should get vehicle perk points.

if I'm not supposed to get any points thats fine with me, but if I'm supposed to have some perk points, I would like to see them there. Just for my own personal satisfaction, lol

He he, Hitech sent me an email telling me that there is a bug in the code where perk points are awarded for boat kills and that it will be fixed in the next patch. they awarded me 20 vehicle points for my trouble.

I have to admit these guys are quick in answering back about any problems that you might have.

Hitech and the AH community has really impressed me.

Ummm HiTech, I havent been getting any Perks for my PT boat killz either!!!

Hehe... it's not like we have anything to spend these vehicle perk points on! Though hopefully they may become useful in the future!
