There is a program called Port Magic (a watered-down version of it comes bundled with newer versions of AOL for broadband, but you can get it separately). Port Magic monitors the ports on your router and allows you access to the router management functions. But basically it will automatically take care of opening even normally closed ports by asking you when something tries to access it (like a firewall does for programs). They advertise they help online games through their port management. I personally dont run it when I run the game, I use it instead as a backup for the firewall and antivirus software I have running at any other time. Might want to check it out though.
