I WAS AFK, yes i once saw someone whine about being shot down because they were afk.

also the other day i saw a whine about how this game is stupid because everyone is flying on the deck -i just never heard anyone complain about it before, thought i heard em all.

Well... when thinking about it... Therte are not many High Altitude monkeys around anymore... Which is a shame actually... There is nothing like a good 2 vs. 2 or 2 vs. many fight at 20k+

spent 5 mins working a niki, finally ripping his wing off only to be hit by un-manned 5" ack from a CV 10k away a second later and falling faster (???) than the niki and giving him the kill.

Here's a good one I tried to explain to someone.

I once left an Il2 on auto Climb. I stepped away from the computer and went to sharpen my swiss army knife. Just as I finish getting it brutally sharp, I saw a plane in the window coming at my il2. In the process of getting up to save my plane, I gashed my pinky finger really bad.

So after I was shot down I yelled out, "Not fair! I'm bleeding to death IRL!"

The guy didn't believe me.
