I loose vox if I'm talking when I am either crashing or I get blown up (instant death). One other thing happens oddly: I land successfully then instantly(without clicking anything) re-spawn into the hangar(not on runway). Often, I loose vox then also.
I thought I was important until I got Cancer and had to go to a cancer clinic.

OK 2nd hand but Gforce never posts here...........

He will regularly lose vox and find that some how the "boost" gain in his  volume control advanced properties has reset its self. (or the problem is corrected by setting and resetting this check box)

He basically switches it on then off again (or is it off then on again) to return to normal vox.

He has onboard sound with Win XP. Using a Thrust master afterburner II USB.

I always thought this somewhat unique to Gforce but will quiz him more if its of interest.

Anyone else see this brief white screen flash?

Just started noting the flash.  I noticed when I press the "T" key a screen flash, white around the edges.  However, I seldom lose vox.  It does seem to happen with the number of player in an arena is very large.

When I do lose VOX, the .resetV command is useless.  It has never worked for me.   The only way I have been able to restore vox is to log.

Stop

OK.  Thanks everyone who helped us out on this.  Shout out to hub, jb73, ftjr, and the homies that contributed on this thread.

We've got enough films and it's helped alot.  They indicated that it's not a sound card or hardware related problem (since the film would still contain the vox info), that it's not the connection (since resetv reconnects to the host), and smaller, harder to explain clues.

So Hitech and I went into the desert, sat in the sweat lodge, and summoned our coding spirit beasts (his is a 1 mine a 0).  We did find an oddity or two that we fixed up and, even if it doesn't cure all vox ills, it will definately make it more stable.  All hail the 0.

Thanks again,
- sudz
