Need a little help on a airplane ID
« on: April 20, 2005, 08:17:02 PM »
My wife is doing a scrapbook for my father in law.

He is retired Air Force and we have a couple of pictures that we need a positive ID on.  While I think I am sure of what the plane is she need a little back up.

I can scan the pic into my computer but someone needs to walk me through the process of hosting it so I can show it here and the experts can back me up.  It is a surprise gift for my FIL so we can not ask him.  The pictures are when he was in Korea.

Toad and i have talked about his unit at the time.  It was the the 15th TRS.

I am sure that the place pic is a RF-80 A but they were also flying T-33s at the same time.

BTW, the unit has a great website if anyone is interested.

Send me the pics, and I'll see what I can do. Pretty good with old aircraft.

How many fingers am I holding up?

Same as asking for help ID'ing and aircraft and not posting a picture or two.

Milo, If you need an easy to use  hosting spot, email TBOLT at onpoi.net and he'll open you a (free) account on the Picture Hangar.
