AH or WB to practice for WW2OL

<S> All AH Pilots.

I have about 3 years and 2000 hours flying AW mostly full realism. When AW3 went to AWMV I stopped playing and started flying jets sims for the last 6 months. I am thinking of trying the WW2 Online sim. My question is:

In your opinions would AH or WB be more like the flight modeling of the WW2OL aircraft. The reason I ask this is I want practice before I start in that game. Thankyou for any response.

Once again, the Aces High Community shines as it exhibits the hospitality known far and wide throughout the online war-gaming public!

Bangles, there are idiots everywhere.  Sorry

AH would be about as good as it gets as a trainer for WWIIOL.  Keep in mind, there is very little info out there regarding the actual FM of the planes in WWIIOL, tho.

Some of the things that ARE known are that there will be no padlock view and a restricted "6" view.

I would think, having flown historical flight sims as much as you have, you'll be as competent as any of the vets (except those who are in the closed beta for WWIIOL, and are actually gaining experience in that FM as we speak).

Here's a serious answer for you:
AH , because you tanking here, with restricted view, and gunnery, in tanks, will prepare you more for WW2 Online.  Either sim will suffice in ATA combat.  I might add that you might disable your pure 6 view in order to get used to the no-six view in all A/C of WW2 online.

Degas I'm sorry but it's an incredibly naive question on so many levels. This is not a knock against Bangles but I'd wager I wasn't the only person who chuckled when I read that.

I don't doubt its sincerity but the reaction it's been met with is hardly suprising.

This kinda stuff kicks up more of the same 'ol tired dust that we all get to endure constantly. He doesn't know that... can't blame him. But ya can't blame the reaction either.

---edit---

Ok, serious answer, Bangles. If any of us *did* know what the FM of WWIIOnline was like, we can't tell you.

Both AH and WBs will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. Download both and practice with the one you like the best.

In WBs you can practice against AI offline.

In AH you can practice for two weeks free in the Arenas, as well as unlimited free 8 player head to head.

I took the liberty of fixing up your post to more appropriately and directly get your point across Degas:

Bangles, there are intelligent AH people everywhere.  Sorry    (Image removed from quote.)

Degas, pull the stick out.  It's making you extra-sensitive and impairing your sense of humor.  If the stick is lodged to far for you to remove it, and you don't have sufficient medical coverage to get assistance, Midol is a short-term solution that should help you.

I agree.  HBlair is a closed minded, ignorant, bigoted, arrogant, and belligerant Alabama boy, who misses his mommy.
