besides the arguments flying back and forth and the questionable decision of posting this in the first place...

The President instituted a special exemption from taxes similar to what soldiers get when killed in battle.

Guess that should completely deflate this thread.

Taxation is always a good subject to discuss, especially tax reduction :)

I don't  know anyone who would knock on his next door neighbor's door and demand 50% of everything he makes.  That would be rude and could get him a bloody nose,right?  We in the US have a thing called government that does that for ya, ain't America great?  You get part of the rich(however you define that) guy's wealth.

On a serious note:Tax reduction is a tool our government can use to spur the economy and Lord knows we are going to need that Big Time shortly :(  I beleive we have taken a blow below the belt by our new enmeies.  We haven't felt the ramfications yet as we are numb.
