We're getting only a little percentage of the TV series produced in the US, and usualy have to wait a few years before these few get here (They're still showing "Magnum PI" on national TV here

)

So, I've been digging a few series on the intardnet, and found the following to be ok.

Lost (think of it as a "Survivor", but with special effects, and no sex)
Taken
4400
24
Six feet under
... ???

Sandman (or was it Nash) recommended "Cut" or something similar (can't remember now) but that isn't my thing...

I'm mainly looking for good SF type of series (BSG was great... but short!)

Any recomendations?

Lost is good (on here now)
24 is ok (in its 3d or 4th season now)
4400 is starting here on may 26th.
six feet under sounds familiar.

Stargate SG-1 is still one of my favorites.

SF series are dieing fast here. People have to watch others in more misery than themselves so all we are getting are these lousy *reality* shows anymore.

Canada seems to be the only place still cranking out good sci-fi.

(What good Canadian series are you talking about?)

I couldn't get into "SG-1" everytime I see Dean-Anderson, I think he's going to make a Titan rocket out of a TP roll & a couple of matches... my buddy at work is realy into it & has all 7 seasons on DVD.

I was watching Star Trek enterprize for a while, but it got boring fast...

- Lost, of course
- BSG, 2nd season starts this july
- Desperate Housewives (not bad for a funny, dark soap)
- House
- Arrested Development (catch the first two seasons from bittorrent)

edit: oops you said SF... not much at the moment I'm afraid... if you count Medium and Revelations as SF, then there's 2

Damn near every *original* series and all the original movies on Sci-Fi channel comes out of Canada.

Andromeda (eye-candy makes it ok)
Both Stargate series (SG-1 and Atlantis)
Battlestar Galactica

Enterprise has been cancelled so this week's 2 hour finale is the last one.

Hmmm... never heard of "Cut".

I've got a few friends that rave about "Smallville" but I haven't watched it.
