Is it too early to ask?
« on: May 19, 2005, 10:38:32 AM »
Just wondering which CM was up for this coming week , and what the setup was going to be? I have not had time to try FT , going in there tonight though.

The CT recently ran the Ragoon setup with the A6M2, against the P-40B, and Hurri I. Which wasn't too bad. I havent seen a Cactus setup in a while, I dont even know if there is a solomons map for AH2. where you could run the F4F , against the Zeke.

A revised Cactus with the A6M2, and A6M5 which I know is a late war Zeke , but for AH purposes could sub for the A6M3  for the IJN. Add the Ki-61 for the IJAAF.

Give the Allies the P-40E, F4F , and the early war F4U , or P-38G , but not both. If you ran the F4U it shouldnt be enabled on CV's only the F4F.

There are probably a thousand holes that can be shot into this suggestion , but ballance wise it looks good on paper.

Actually that sounds quite right. Wouldn't mine the Zeke5 to give the Japanese another choice. Yes the F4u1 should not be enabled for CV as they were not used on CV's until later in the war.

Too bad we don't have Betty bombers though. they woul be fun, and they burn so wonderfully.:D

If we had Betties and P39's/P-400s we could do a nice early war Port Moresby setup. We'd need some good RAAF skins for those Ausies.

We have the same Slot map from AHI converted to AHII, its less buggy than it was in its original format but still has some issues.

I would say A6M2, A6M5 (sub for A6M3), and no Ki61 for Axis and P-38G, P-40E, and F4F on land, and only F4F on CV's, no F4U. That could be late '42, where if the F4U and Ki61 were added it would be early/mid '43.

Yeah I've often wondered why planes like the G4M, and P-39 , have not been added. It's probably due to the fact that the majority of AH profit comes from the MA. These aircraft probably wouldnt see much action there. So having the KI-67 instead is a better bet. Not to use a bad word,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Warbirds,G4M was a nasty suprise if you didnt stay clear of that tail mounted 20mm.

Still at work for the day but wondering if I have a new setup to come home to tonight. The MA just doesn't do anything for me so it's either a new setup or I install KOTOR 2 :)

MA blows, CT ain't far behind when a weekend is wasted without an update both in the arena and/or on this board ...

An early war PAC was being kicked around but there has been some confusion on who was taking the set up. My fault really. If I run it it will be Finn/Russ. Sorry for the problems fellas .

KOTOR2 is Knights of the Old Republic. A Star Wars game. I didnt really like the first one.
