Excellent point. An imaginary product is made from recycled humans, therefore... wait ...uh... I guess you didn't have a point and were just going for the humor.
My point was because corporations are groups of people, rights held by corporations are rights held by people.
Your complaint that bankruptcy laws are different for 'groups of people' than for individuals seems strange to me because there is a whole book of laws relating to 'groups of people'.
If bankruptcy law were singled out as a shining example of fairness when bookkeeping and tax law are different for 'groups of people' than they are for individuals,
that would seem inconsistant.
