How do you know? Anyone know if the ressurected dog was "soul-less" ? Would it not growl and get agitated if a mailman was brought to the lab room? Would it just sit and stare off with vacant moon-eyes if a cat was sent running by?

im pretty sure the religous think animals have no soul...

The less you know, the more religius you are.  Faith, pure faith, is based on ignorance.  The moment you begin to learn and ask questions, the whole thing colapses.

One of the main answers the Greek orthodox church will give to questions is: "Belive and dont question, cause God works in mistirius ways".

So, the ones that claim to know, are the ones that really don't have a clue.  They just belive.  Had they been born somewhere else, they would have been at a holy war with the US as we speak.

So it's a question for the Pope, then? Hmm. Maybe it doesn't need to go that high. He might have delegated who-has-a-soul decisions (rulings?) to a lower level.

lets take note here they were saying the animals were "Clinicly dead"   at no point did they say the souls had left the building!

and i do believe animals have souls

No i dont believe any main stream BS religon, but i do believe in a creator who created us with souls as well as animals .....we're all still his creations why would he only give souls to us Hairless monkies?

I know i wont change your thoughts,   but like Chairboy(we finally agree on something) ............ your a fool to think earth and humans are the only highly developed beings in the vast cosmos.

All animals? If not, how big or advanced does an animal have to be to qualify for a soul? Or does the animal have to be a specific type like a mammal? Fish? Maybe just big fish like sharks, or does that include my old pet goldfish too? How about insects? Does the mosquito that bit me the other night get to have another go at me in the afterlife?

"at no point did they say the souls had left the building!"

hmm.  Did they have the soul detector machines on to be sure?

"...earth and humans are the only highly developed beings in the vast cosmos."

I for one do believe life is out there in the universe and in abundance. However I just don't buy into that "Supreme Being" baloney.

Ummm so you mean it will fix your brain?:)
