B24 Passenger Bug

I couldn't get my film to work so this is what happened:

I was a gunner on my mate's B24 and when we were going down in flames, he crashed, but I was still on the bomber, but it was "underground" and moving pretty fast. I could still pick positions as if the bomber was there (It wasn't, F3 and F4 views just showed the grond) and fire guns with effects showing. I couldn't stop because I didn't control the bomber and I couldn't exit to tower until it stopped. Basiaclly I had to ALT+F4 outta there and when I did it went to tower and said I crashed, then it exited the game.

This has been a bug for a long time. The best thing to do is make sure you bail out before the pilot does.

I have been on a bomber that corck screwed thru mountains and other planes could see me. Some poor guy in a C205 tried his best to shoot the bomber down (It was already dead) but he could not. I was still able to fire my machine guns though and got a few pings on him.

If you don't get out before the pilot you will have to shut the game down. I have never heard of any other way to get out. I refer to this as "The bomber ride from hell".

same thing happened at a25 last night except it was fighters. after they were shot down an icon was moving fast thru/under the terrain.
