What brand, type, and weight engine oil do you use and why?

I don't change it. I just keep adding as needed.

Valvoline 10W-30 and a bottle of Prolong every other change. 150,000 and still running great. (After a new battery.)

Ran Dello400 30W  with Prolong in my Ford diesel. got 400,000 before a valve spring broke.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
