Excellent!!

Remember to pick up one of those hats with the two beer cans and hoses... without wearing that at your local pub, you will not be taken seriously when you attempt to explain to them what it's like over here.

Besides, the tin foil hats that Skysphinchter and Beetle wear are pretty much non-functional unless plugged into a wall outlet.

Have a good time mate, night races are allot of fun. When in the pits you'll find the crews to be good folks. If they aren't busy they'll answer questions you might have, unlike allot of pro sports nowadays.

Northern and southern Kalifirnia are pretty different but... they are both still different than the rest of the country.... in a bad way.

Kalifornia sucks and it is getting worse.  I live here and I visit a lot of other states....  this state sucks.

Be sure to sample the cuisine:

In-N-Out burgers are apparently quite good.

DON'T even bother with White Castle if you see one...trust me.

I think that about covers it.

It is the most progressive state (NY 2nd) of the Union.

California State is richer than middle states and "Tha South" combined

"Progressive" is a subjective term. "Richest", using the qualifier of economy, is false.

Lies, damn lies and statistics.

Sparks;
if you want a real cultrual education there is a travelplaza just a  mile or two from the speedway. take I-10 west first exit past I-15.  now back in the old days when it was still a truckstop you could get anything you needed there. ya even that. now if you really havent been laid in a while i understand the prices are still pretty cheap. heres a little bit of history  the speedway is built on the old u.s. steel blast furnace site.  just think of all the chemicals knowen to the state of california to still be in the ground. when you went in the driveway did you notice there are only 3 streets to get out on. wait till all the socal wannabe racers hit the road at the same time.  lol have fun

Apparently I made the mistake of eating their burgers sober.

All I could taste was a sickly oniony meaty substance which came close to causing a gag reflex.

Well had a fantastic days racing. The Pit access is great and the crews freindly - F1 could learn a lesson here about fans.  Good race with lots of place changing at the front.  Noticed Jeff Gordan wasn't the most popular guy :). Bugger that's a big grandstand !!!!

Took the train to the track and back which worked out great, I'd been warned about the 3 hour wait to get out of the parking lot.

A great experience,  a real memory.

They have trains? At racetracks?

Whoda thunk it?

Listen, on yer way home, a favor? Stop off here on the Island and pick up Rodger Waters and take him back home with you.

He's shooting all our pheasant and catching all our tuna.

You must have a remarkably strong constitution. Most folks hurl in the parking lot before they even go in the place.
