And Nilsen, dunt make me toss more nautical terms at you!  :D

RTR, the aliens have landed and I have it on good authority they are considering you a good candidate for an anal probe.  Keep the duct tape handy.

Skuzzy, I said he has an A p p l e ... ie no activex, no av, no antispyware ;)

LaserThailor...you're more of a space-age disco queen than a seaman.  And that's pretty cool, in a Freddie Mercury / Flash Gordon kinda way. ;)

So then, you're declaring victory, donning your tiarra, and taking your place as queen of the dingy?  Congrats, Nelly!

You might want to do a search Vulcan.  There have been a couple of Apple specific worm variants unleashed in the last several months.

A scripted worm does not care about Apple or PC.  As long as there is an interpreter, the scripted worm will work.

And, as Apple is using ActiveX on a WEB site, I could only *assume* they are supporting it in thier browser as well.

Still, it is possible for a scripted worm to come via email to an Apple computer, assuming they allow HTML in thier email.

Regardless of the delivery, the symptoms are that of a worm.

The only worms I can find are concept stuff except for one early last year that got patched. They don't support activex, but I'm wondering if its something JAVA based as theres just been some major patches for OS X and their java, apple are a bit mum about why which is suspicious.
