Linda Morgan is the widow of the pilot of the Memphis Belle. I received this in my email today from a squad member:

From Linda Morgan:

I am so sorry to let you know that Sgt. Robert Hanson, the Radio Operator and last surviving crew member of the Memphis Belle, died Sat., Oct. 1, 2005. Details on funeral arrangements are pending. As soon as I receive them from his family, I'll post them on my website at http://www.memphis-belle.com

In the meantime I know his wife, Irene, would appreciate sympathy cards/letters. Her address is

7404 Chaco Rd NE
Albuquerque, NM 87109

Thanks for your support to her and Bob's family in their time of loss.
