You blue shield warriors are a hoot!  you say all this yet i watched a film from the other day and you are all BnZ above a furball of spits and 109s in tempests.

i have film of you vulching in a tempest for over 15 mins morph, then to land 8 kills and accept a load of congratulations.

in truth, mega was in a spit 5, being raped.

but seriously, lets get our standards right here.

dont come here preaching this stuff when you quite clearly swing all ways but none in the MA depending on your mood.

that goes for all of us.

and mussie, if you chased someone from sea level to 25k it was probably storch, just feel lucky he didnt take you past 35k like he has done to me in the CT.

"What do I have to prove to anyone? Why should I fly something I dont think is fun to fly?"

A good point Morph, that is your money and if you think that getting a kill by any means is THE thing for you then its all right. Not that it doesn't take skill to get kills eg. in lala, it certainly does in sertain situations and a good pilot in eg. a low lala can dominate a huge group of defenders and buy valuable time for others to get the job done. Especially if you don't have numbers on your side while trying a base capture or when defending.

And then there are the masochists like me who fly mediocre iron and get blasted away by superior a/c all the time but bagging a superior plane while flying "junk" gives you something extra that is not there when flying a clearly superior plane. But that is what gives me the kicks.

Good post Dred.

Mussie,

Easy fix my man, dont wait for 25,000 ft to give em your tail.  Hell I spend 3/4 of my AH time giving my tail to someone with more E and alt, making em miss repeatedly, and then smokin em.

As soon as their 1.5k away, reverse, get them to engage you and smoke em.

Your playin their game, change the rules.

pretty much... the latter and faster the planes in a mix the more boring the fight.  I used to not mind lalas quite so much when they would fite.   Yaks will fite.

Eh.  Sometimes you feel like burning it up by turning with everything in sight in a Tiffie or 190 just to see how many kills you can get before dying.  Sometimes you feel like leisurely BnZing a horde in a Tempest with a beer in one hand.  It's all good in my book.

If I am extremely bored...

I will grab a tempest and run down and kill the runners... those "realistic" players who realize that the game is really... well.... life itself... not something trivial to toy with.  Your whole day will be ruined if someone outflys you after all.  So don't give em a chance..

It is like clubbing baby seals...  they have no skills whatsoever... it quickly becomes apparent why they are in a fast plane.... the only "skill" they have learned is to never slow down if any planes are around..  their mind must freeze and the urine run down their leg as they realize that the tempest behind them is gonna catch em... gonna catch em far from friends or ack...

If they continue to play as they do.... it will be the only skill they will ever learn.

I'll never run in any plane.  While I might not turn fight, I will not run.

It's gotten to the point where I expect people to run from me.  I don't blame them anymore, I'm really good.

Just curious Laz. What plane do you fly?

With the exeption of the LA.
The Pony,FW and tiffy only turn well so long as they are fast. Which is why it would be stupid of them to stay in a turnfight with a turnfighter for any extended period of time. Because hey know once they become slow then yes its being clubbed like a baby seal.
Skill at that point may only extend their life for a bit. But the outcome is almost inevitable unless the turnfighter is unskilled or makes a catostrophic mistake.

And why would you care anyway? Sitting there in your comfy little furball you shouldnt be chasing after anyone but rather switching your attention to the next cherrypick

What really gets me is when you chase an LA or Pony across an entire sector as they run from you...and when you turn off to actually fight someone they turn back into you...ofcourse they always lose...just dweeby
LOL Cav, I started handing the runner my six and waving my arse in their face at the merge to get them to commit.  Once they do they are dead lol.

What did I preach? Are you that retarded you cant understand basic english?

I said... I do and fly what I think is fun. That includes the vulching of squad mates and or opposing teams, BnZ, HO, Cherry pick, and whatever else you want to add to that list.

I have no problem with people running. None at all. When I find Im in an area that is surrounded by runners I think of a solution. Ie; take a G10, 51 or La7 and even the odds out as far as speed goes. Ive had good fights in ever plane in the set over the years. They're all fun to fly, and like I said, I have abslolutely nothing to prove to anyone by way of what I fly and how I fly it.

And one more thing. Stop watching what I do in game. You stalk me enough on these boards as it is.

dred... I fly the FM2 and once in a while the yak and maybe an f6

I said "extremely bored"  I guess that was too hard for you to understand...

I will expand.   Extremely bored means that there is no furball anywhere.   No place for a low alt fight with a lot of cons.   The arena is full of late fast planes B&Zing outhouses and hoping someone will take off so that they can fight over the scraps...  I do not wish to take off in an Fm2 in that situation and paly dodgeball with 5 or six ball throwers.   I will simply find what field they are going to next and up there in the temp.   chase down the d9 or lala or pee 51 and kill it.   not really that fun so it is very rare..

rather log off but.... you know... we all have our perverse moments eh?

Some people say that a rehab clinic is the only way to get off drugs, but I say just put the pipe down and quit cold turkey.  Really the only way to go.  But keep good ties with your dealer though, he's your homey and that goes deeper than just the white powder and the bling.  After the shakes and the cold sweats wear off, you will be as good as new...
