hey SAS_kid, to answer your questions in poo's abscence (he must be at school, or in the harrow gents toilets again, squad joke) i would say he flies everything and anything pretty much equally well. his spit of choice would be the spitV or the spit16.

you and him should have a duel or two, i'd be interested to see this one as you both are good sticks.

BTW, do you remember a hurricane in the malta scenario that shot ur 109e down in a spectacular 'wildthng' style reversal?? :p

well, it wasnt me..honest.

hehe.

heya. no, not in school, at home, not feeling to great today :(

sas, i'd say my fave plane is spit16, because it does everything so well. BUT, i fly it less than other rides strangely enough. been in the f6f and 109's lately. i fly what i want or need most of the time

ah you should try the 109F its a great balance of speed and turning ability also someday i would like to fly with you guys when my squad isn't on.

:Edit: I really am not that great of an all purpose fighter jock but before i had my joystick I could turnfight with the best but now whenever i get into a 1 on 1 turnfight in my Spit9 against other spits and stuff i have like a 90% success rate and i even beat Raptors 38 in a 109F which is why I reccomend it. Also, I got trained by Poo alot and fuzeman so i think i am ok now...now if I could learn to BnZ well in a Spit9 muchless BnZ at all.

yeah, 109f is one of my fave planes, along with the k4. better visibilty than the others too. but a spit9 isnt the best bnz plane. mess about in thunderbolts, that dive capability will get you in and outta trouble so fast, with all the weight, and you get 8 50's with LOADS of ammo. if you're trying to learn BnZ, thats ya best shot. can turn great too.

anytime you wanna come fly with us thatd be great, ch171. and if you need help with anything, just ask, i'll come to the TA with ya whenever

A quick compilation from one of our many squadron fighter sweeps.

the plane of choice today was Seafires, the target was to CAP an enemy base while the strat boys moved in. 9 mins into the sortie our fellow shed bashers took the base for us to land at, was very nice of them :D

score tally for the mission was 4 enemy planes destroyed, no loses to the squadron.

If you think you might like to fly on our wing, come find us in MA, knights, channel 171 for vox.

bump.

we recently came up with a new squadron setup, with wing commanders, in charge of three wings of three, and a proper layout and all that goes with it. if you want to be part of a historically minded squad that has a lot of fun, just holler

Fantastic screenshots there Batfink.

Great to see Spitfires in formation.

After all their superior design to the luftwaffe planes and the hardy folk who flew them saved the allies and caused the Germans their first major defeat of the war.

I may be interested in commanding one of your wings.

However, it may be hard to leave Rookland because there are a great bunch of guys from all different squads that fly for them.  Bish swarm in uber rides,  the knights are always good for a fight.   Maybe next month ill give the knights another chance seeing as they no longer have a massive amount of players recently.

All the best
