That's a hoot coming from a nation who's idea of a "contact" sport is to dress up in lycra thigh pads, full kevlar body armour, helmet, face guard and then leave the pitch every 10 mins 'cos they're feeling a bit tired - poor luvvies.

Our Riot police have less body protection.

Agree. Despite I'm short I've played basketball for a while, it's really physical, lots of contacts, especially in the area...
