Hows your team doing...My Steelers have a tough road.

Viks, Browns, Lions...But right now were slotted #2 AFC Wildcard. But we cant lose this week or any week after that. If we do get there we have to the play the Bengals. Im sure, matter of fact, positive, we can beat them on the road. We beat the Bengals on the Road, and they nearly lost to the Browns at Home!

I'm kind of dissapointed in the Steelers, We did so great last season, and here we're struggling to get to the playoffs this season, with a team that is not consistent. I think the Steelers havnt been consistent for a long time. But we manage to do fairly well for the last 5 years.

I think we need to ween ourselves from the Steeler Running game. And move to a game where passing is our key. We have talented Recievers and Ends, and a Good QB, although "Injured", We can use the running game where the situation dictates.

Unfortunatley, I'm not the coach, and I can't nudge Bill (Although I've met him 3 times) and say "Look, we can't depend on our Running game to win every football game", "Our defense, while Stellar, can't be left to win our games either."

"We need to throw long, short, over the middle and play our games with more confidence in make big plays downfield, when we need too!"

Theres my Rant, See you in the Playoff's Bungals, this isn't your year.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I see Denver in the playoffs, hopefully going second round at the least.  And I hope Indianapolis implodes, hate to see teams do so well.

How 'bout them Cowboys! They will win the NFC East then die a horrible death in the 2nd round.

I've been thinking...

How well the Philadelphia Eagles do is usually the inverse of how well the PSU Nittany Lions do.

For as long as I can remember, if one was doing well, the other wasn't...

I

As a citizen of Michigan that reluctantly follows the Lions I can tell you that one of the Steeler's problems starts with a "B" and rymes with "atch".

Vikings.
After a Horrid start have now won 6 in a row.
Mainly because they discovered Defence is part of the game too.
Problem is untill this past weekend they forgot how to play offence.
In that stretch they havent beaten anybody of note besides the Giants. In one of the weirder games I've seen in recent memory

Next up they get a damn good Steelers team in a game I think will be closer then people expect but with the Vikes ultimately loosing.

Playoff prediction.
Anybodies guess. Slim chance at a wildcard spot. But a better chance of slipping in as division winner if the bears loose one more before the final game between the Vikes and Bears which could end up being for the Division.

IF by some miracle they get in. The offence will either finally gell and catch fire and win a couple games before being crushed.
ORRR they will get destroyed outright from the first snap.

Team is too unpredictable to predict with any certainty

I like the Steelers. I Think they will get to the playoffs and do some damage. They have everyone  healthy pretty much now.

Could go either way for them. They have both Washington and Carolina up.
They have already lost to Washington once this year. and Carolina isnt a a gimme either.

On the other hand. Both are winnable games

Yeah, with all those first round picks they're getting, they're bound to have something good soon. I swear.

The best move the Raiders made was gettin' rid of the Gruden character. Tampa got their superbowl, and Indianapolis got a dynasty.

Let's see,
#1 offense in the NFL--check
#1 for rushing yards by a running back--check
#1 defense in the red zone--check
#1 defense in QB sacks--check

Everything looks good on paper..however our defense is banged up, we have 2 rookies playing Linebacker, we're missing two pro-bowler defensive players (Ken Hamlin, Jamie Sharper), our team-leading interception leader is out until the end of the season (Dyson), our starting Wide Receiver Darryl Jackson is still out, yet we've managed to keep winning....I'm really not sure what to think of Seattle's play off chances. Everyone will crank it up a notch in the play offs, but can Seattles defense crank it up with a make-shift defense and two rookies? Time will tell.

I do know this much, Sat. Dec. 24th will be touted as "a possible Superbowl match up" when the Colts come to Seattle...I certainly hope Manning can communicate by hand signals alone with his players while executing the no-huddle offense because myself and 67,000 other fans are going to make it very loud at quest field that day.  I highly doubt that the center will hear Manning changing the play at the line of scrimmage...it is THAT loud at Quest field.
