Allied Mission #3 - Sunday 5-7-06 10pm et
« on: May 07, 2006, 11:26:38 AM »

This mission will start an hour later than usual mission per request of a few players. It takes place in the Axis vs Allies Arena at 10pm et. A Mission will be posted called Allied Mission 3 for allies. If an axis player can make an intercept mission it would be greatly appreciated.

Target Destroyed!

Although the allies suffered heavy losses yet again, it wasnt until after many had released their payloads on the target, completely destroying it.
The axis also lost many planes in their efforts to intercept the bombers. Great escort by allied fighters once again proved their worth.

   Mission: Success

Thanks to all who attended :)

Your bomber formations were so tight last night.  I had a hard time weaving through them on attack runs.  On my first run one of you took out my oil so I turned around and just sprayed cannons into the group.

On my second up I located a few groups with no escort so I was able to take my time shooting down 4 total bombers before having my engine shot out.  It was alot of fun, although it would be better if we could get more planning on the axis next time.

We try planning the Axis, but we invariably have a lot of late comers who miss any set "mission" we post, or people who don't flollow the plan and ltip our hand well in advance.

Were you guys having any VoX issues like last time? That was a major problem with coordination on the #2 mission.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

My computer keeps crashing to desktop but only when running AHII I'm sorry I missed out on the mission.  I'm glad it was successful for the bombers.  good job FiLtH!!
