Nilsen, if you think your gains are small in your RL trading, you should read the article out today on daytraders in India. Some of these guys have to live off of what they make daily on the stock market, we are talking 10 to 15 bucks a day. They dont even own computers, they sit in Internet Cafe type places and make their trades all day.

I know. There are lots of them.

Only "complaining" about today tho. Overall im doing good. The missus and I are discussing if maybe ill take one years leave from my job and do it fulltime.

I H-A-T-E this website! Had me at 43rd, 3rd then 45th all after trading ended. I put thru a market open order and it never happened. Wound up losing my arse about 20 min before the market closed while I was at work. If the sale had gone thru everything would have been rosey. Now I'm hanging out at the corner bumming change from strangers.

i just sold of a stock i bought a week back with 1316 USD profit.

im talking RL now

My drilling and exploration stocks are my big winners in RL. They are followed by dry bulk and then gas shipping. Crude tankers are more sticky. Technology have been my loosers mainly due to selling at the wrong time, but they usually are safe, but slow movers.

I hope yall read the news. If you plan on doing some medium-long term investments then go for oil and gas exploration companies.

a 25 year old american law that bans exploration for oil and gas on the west and east coast plus the eastern part of the gulf of mexico is going away.

I have just bougth stock in Global Geo Services (RL) that i will sit on for a few months.

Reschke and I were swapping 6th & 7th place virtually all day. The day started out really well for me....then I made a mistake and bought a stock that didn't do what it was "supposed" to do...increase in price.
