I did and it was great! Got all misty with nostalgia. :)

Unfortunately unless Reynolds is willing to let rule 9 slide all the historical footage makes you film ineligible for submission. :( (Oh c’mon Reynolds!)

ty mad :)

i think some of those rules are dumb, and closing nominations after 5 films, that's also silly, too many rules. i urge you to reconsider some of them reynolds :)

it's a film using historical footage with AH footage, why that's a problem is silly, especially since what this forum needs is films with more of a story to them, instead of tons of MA killshots ;). while some MA furball films are great, they get boring after a while, if you know what i mean... :)

would be really nice to see more films with a story, liven up this forum.

Okay, was not... thinking ahead. I think rule 9 can be... re-phrased.

"The film must contain at least 50% in-game footage, and the rest must either be historical, or be of a historic nature"

All non AH must be real or realistic WWII footage. And im closing nominations after 5 in the hopes that we can re-do this next month with 4 new films, and the winner. Next month, surely yours will be nominated. and im just about to check it out.

I really enjoyed the "Old School German Iron" film , and among those nominated, it has my vote.

However, for August, I nominate the best AH film ever, "Mustang Rhapsody", a film of a squad night of the Braunco Mustangs. It is high res., and therefore a BIG download, but well worth it. It also has a superb soundtrack by Queen. This film is, at least, as good as anything ever put out by the IL-2 crowd.

Don't miss it.

If my link (hand typed) doesn't work, just Google "Braunco Mustangs", then scroll down to the link. Make sure you get the high res version, and update your codec to see it.
