That really sucks, people gave that guy a hard time about his act and everything but when it was all said and done that guy was very entertaining and i even learned a little something from him. His enthusiasm was infectious, i wish i had that much energy and he might have even helped the cause of some of the worlds rarest and most amazing animals Steve Irwin :(

My two eldest daughters are very upset over this.

He brought conservation, humour, fantastic photography, danger and above all else education into our house and for that I'm deeply saddened by the news.

I was amazed to read some of the things he's achieved in Australia from a conservation front, the guy deserved far more credit/recognition for these exploits than he received.

My thoughts lie with his wife and two young children.

I always suspected his end would come from a Crocadile or some other critter.

As a science teacher and a conservationist myself, we are quick to let pupils know that there are many hazards when dealing with wild and ,most of all, unpredictable animals.  Irwin took his work passionately and with much vigor and courage.   I salute him for the attention he brought to respecting and conserving wildlife.

He will be missed, my prayers go out to him and his family. It's sad to see his children losing their father at such a young age. :(

One of the most entertaining people to watch that there ever was. Plus he just came across as a decent man.

to the Croc Hunter. A truly unique character. Far better to die doing what you love than all shriveled up and helpless on your back in bed. He caught alot of flak but brought alot of entertaining education to a great many people.:aok
