the la 7 is going to be one of the hardest planes you will have to get off your six a single birst will kill you almost instantly it can out run you and might be able to match your turn when i am in a yak with energy it is the plane that will kill me i die in the yak normaly from an la 7

Not quite so, the Yak-9U is IMO more durable than a P51-Delta. I've taken stray rounds from a La-7 and  I've been banged up but i have remained afloat. Also an La-7 isn't hard to shake off of your six if you notice  him early and have some E to work with, it's not that maneuverable  since majority of the La-7 pilot's keep the throttle "Firewalled".

Little trick I learned when I got an aggressive spit, or any plane than can out dogfight you, above me is to enter a shallow dive(of coarse you need alt as well for this). If the enemy is aggressive and follows the excellent speed of the yak can quickly equalize E states and from there you can gain the upper hand.
