here in florida frog legs can be had at some "local quisine " eateries.. and they are like little chicken wings...sorry they do taste alot like chicken.

I was just going to say that.  frogs are mighty fine beer fare and much better than chicken wings.

butter, garlic...lots of garlic. (just like snails)

Used to love this when I was a kid, haven't had any for years. Had some with tomato sauce when I was in spain, wasn't so great IMO.

The traditional way is sauté with parsil garlic and butter, without the taste of garlic/parsil  it's rather insipid ... exactly like the snails.

Whilst crawling the tapa bars in Seville many years ago I ran across pajaritos.  Tiny birds you popped in your mouth bones beak and all.  Duly fortified with some of the local tinto I found them to be quite toothsome.  Doubt I could look one in the eye and eat it today though.
