So, I see you finally didn't quit, just like you said you wouldn't.

BTW Wrong Wrong Wrong

Planes aren't free, they cost $14.95 per month.

Only 98% of the people in AH are good people.

And that other thingy.

does it matter why?  everyone plays for different reasons...his reasons may differ from other peoples reasons...and most likely nobody will never be able to tell him otherwise.  it is his opinion.   Just like you play for your reasons, should he tell you that you are wrong for them? or have you explain yourself...just so he will end up telling you why you are wrong or he doesnt agree?

I fail to understand why there is always so much drama about how others choose to play...everyone will not ever agree on how to play...other than to have fun....and that is up to each person to decide what is fun for him.

Great post Dan...think it definately summed up what you are about in this game...from what I could always tell :aok

And no, this is in no way some sort of attack...just dont see why everyone must explain themselves all the time for what they enjoy...and usually just to be told by some they are wrong...and the others that say they agree.

just my opinion on it.

Well, it wouldn't be much of a general discussion if no one actually discussed anything, would it?

Hey, no prob by me Josh :)

It was more my curiosity then anything else.  Figured since he took the time to say he didn't agree, he might elaborate.  No biggie if he doesn't.

I just love these guys that have all this "data" to back up their opinions! LOL!! I guess I wasn't flying when they had the poll about "Guppy's views on flying"  LOL!!

I agree with Guppy. I like to bring my plane home in one piece, but if its on fire, thats ok too. I enjoy the fights, and hope to win them all, tho Im very far from that number  :) Thats what this game is all about, HAVING FUN !

well said corky...  I wish some of the new guys would read that before getting drunk and signing up and taking the oath to some ridgid mega squad...

I think one of the things that has changed is that a lot of us came here from old box games where we fought Ai till we though we were hot **** pile its.

there were lots of boxed games but only one or... maybe two real online multi player ones that were worth talking about... we came in with an attitude that we could whup anyone (we could kill any AI in any boxed game right?).

We were instantly handed our butts...

We said "ok.. just need to learn the tricks"  but... fighting real people is nothing like Ai so we continued to get our butts handed to us and we got mad and realized... maybe we weren't as good as we thought but...

We decided that we were gonna learn to hold our own in a fight when we ran into another plane... we read what guys wrote and we reviewed films and we learned and pretty soon... we could hold our own.

now... seems they come in... get killed once or twice and decide that they are better off in a fluff or GV or..... someone tells em that they can join their squad where..... sucking is no big deal... embrace the horde and your suckiness....  you have a right to suck darn it!  we have a way that you can have fun even if you suck.

In the old days you took fields and flew fluffs to do something a little different... now... guys do it cause they can't do anything else.   Well.... "can't" is too strong a word... "won't" is probly more accurate with "don't know any better" as the qualifier.

When will you guys realize that your idea of "fun" and everyone elses isn't excatly the same? I suggest everyone quit tying to change the way other people play the game and JUST PLAY THE GAME. Sounds to me like you have a pretty good idea how YOU can have fun. I can assure you this, the guys who are reading your posts have already invested enough time in this GAME to know how THEY can have fun, and you'll be hard pressed to change that. I have ALWAYS had FUN in this GAME, whether before the "change" or after the "change", I have always been able to fly my cartoon plane and shoot at other cartoon planes and to me thats FUN.

That is all, ~S~.
