Startup

I just downloaded AH, and when I startup I do not have any mouse functionality at all. If I move my mouse to the corners of the screen I can see it, but when I try to move it over the menu pad to select an option (play offline,play online,etc) it does not show up, and therefore I can not select anything.  I am running Windows ME, 160 mb ram, 550 pIII, GeForce 256, any ideas?

What driver version are you running for the GeForce?
Are you using any fancy mouse cursors?  Try setting windows to use the default ones.

Also, what video resolution are you trying to run AH in, or have you gotten that far?

What version of Direct X are you running?

I have the latest version of the nvida drivers for geforce, i downloaded them of there site. i do not have the default curser on.  as for the resolution, i have my desktop set to 1024x768, but when you first start the game there is supposed to be a settings box come up, this did not happen to me. I am running DirectX 8. Any further help would be appreciated.
