Function keys out of whack?

When in flight online i have tried to examine my flight path via the function keys.F3, F4, and F5 to be specific. Yet F10 works for setting my head position in flight,am I missing a key stroke to engage the external view functions? Or anything else? BTW the function keys work offline.

BDBAL,
  External views work for bombers only online.  Fighters get no external view online.
  This is to simulate that bombers had multiple crew members with eyes lookin from all sides of the plane for enemy where the fighter only had the pilot.
