....that the changes in AH are all my fault and the fault of a secret plan cooked up by the Aces High P38 Pilot's Association.
I was informed, while reading a thread that I hadn't even replied to, that along with AKAK, I needed to take off my biased glasses and to stop being so high and mighty.
I was humbled to realize that the word had slipped out that it was us that caused Hitech and company to modify the game.
With that in mind, I called an emergency meeting of the Aces High P38 Pilot's Association, where the decision was made to call off the plan for the sake of the AH Community.
To that end I have asked AKAK to unlock all of HTC's assests that he'd frozen through some brilliant computer trickery. You are free to go about your business without our interference.
Hitech, you will be glad to know that your relatives have been released. Silat, who was in charge of the kidnapping part of the plan stated that they were all in good health and on thier way home. He did say that Murdr was a bit disappointed though.
Skuzzy, you will be glad to know that Raptor and Soulyss have returned your computer and will say nothing to anyone about the 'images' stored on said machine. The cash you sent will be returned to you as well and we'll say nothing more.
Pyro, I'd like to apologize for ever suggesting a clipped wing Spitfire and using the LFXVIe designation instead of the LFIXe. I know you've taken an extraordinary amount of grief for this, and for that I am sorry.
From this point forward, the 38 pilots of AH intend to be very serious about the game. We will practice bombing and shooting rockets and will only allow ourselves 2 turns after the merge.
We will HO on every opportunity as well as carry full fuel and 2 drop tanks. We also promise to never fly over 5K. Any missions flown can call for us at anytime to escort them or to take on the flak guns for them.
Winning the war will be our only goal.
I again apologize for taking control of Aces High and sending it down the wrong path. I hope Hitech, that you can undo the damage that the 38 pilots of Aces High have caused.
Excuse me now, while I go sit in the corner..........
