You were looking for "its."

"It's" means "it is."

Just one of those nice little quirks in English :)

Edited for proper usage/structure:

My pet peeve is the predominance of improper English, spoken or written, just about anywhere English is common. I am speaking of its use in posts, on the radio channels ingame and in speech by those around you, at work or in other public places.

A while back there was a thread posted here titled "should of just killed him".

I think only like two people here noticed.

I don't have a problem with incorrect english unless it's so bad that the person is saying something that means something different or even opposite of what they are intending to communicate. Oh and redundant punctuation, why don't people understand that no matter how many you stack the value is still 1?

Oh yeah, I got a chuckle out of "Anybody tried parachuting?".

I don't know that only two people noticed, it's more likely that only two people said something.  Bad grammar abounds these days.  I have well-educated co-workers who write like 6th grade remedial English students.  I just don't get it.

In fact, I'm not even going to point out the errors in your post. :) I'd rather fly.

Why not? It would be the nice thing to do.
