Divisional Play off game picks

I have to give the Colts their due. They went into their old city, where people - even the scoreboard - called them 'the team from Indy' and not the Colts - where there were "f*** Jim Irsay" signs everywhere - against the best defense in the NFL suposedly - and moved the ball. And stopped the Ravens offense cold.

Clearly the run game is not what it once was for the Ravens - but damn - they couldnt do squat.

I'm thinking my Bears are about to get exposed as just as overrated as my Wolverines were in the Rose Bowl. Starts in 2 hours.

Good picks. Cept maybe for the Bears.
Just wondering how you come to that conclusion?

Bears are probably the worst 13-3 team in history who probably had as many games given to them by opposing teams as they have taken by themselves.

Their true W-L record should probably be closer to Seattles

Seattle on the other hand can be a far better team then their record indicates

I call the game a tossup. Depending on which teams show up for either side
I'll take Seattle in a close one

---EDIT---

Ehh what the hell.
I'll even give it a shot at calling the score

Seattle 26
Bears 20

The saddest part about this whole thing is that next season we will still have Andy Reid as coach, and Donovan McNabb will be back as quarterback.  Again, I will become emotionally uninvolved with the eagles.

Whats even sadder for The Eagles is Garcia is set to be an unrestricted Free agent

Lots of folks say the Bears game wasn't going  to be close...well, news for ya, it was. And it came down to a botched snap between our center and QB...Alexander said in a post game interview "if we don't botch that snap, I think I score from the vantage point I had of the O-line opening up a hole..." (Final Seahawk drive in the 4th)

Great game, best game this week-end. Congrats to Chicago, you dodged a bullet, this round...

If the Bears had a quarterback that can get the ball out in front of a receiver it wouldn't have been close.  The biggest thing that stopped the Bears was receivers having to turn around to make a catch.  Griese needs to be in there if Chicagos wants the big one.l

I'll say this though, I don't think Hunter is going to be working loans for a while.  That guy came on strong.

I think NO will have no problems with the Bears if they play mistake free football.  Seattle was a banged up, patch-work team on Defense, and we still pressured Grosswoman all day.

I'm watching the charger game wondering if SD can manage to self destruct, stealing defeat from the jaws of victory again.

Same old Marty ball...different season. He reminds me of Chuck Knox, great at getting to post season, but then chokes...

We'll see, Marty has 4 minutes left to move the ball to FG range.

BS.

Marty ball has NOTHING to do with the rookie mistakes the chargers have been making.  It's going to be called a meltdown tomorrow.

It started with the fumbled kick return... Complete rookie kind of mistake.  He drops it and then with the entire pats team about to jump on him, he tries to pick it up instead of falling on it?  Sheesh.

Then numbnuts head-butting someone and drawing a 15 yd penalty after STOPPING the pats dead.

Then another handful of picks, fumbles, and personal foul penalties.

Total meltdown of the Chargers, as usual.  No freaking way is that "martyball", whatever the hell that means.  It's players on one team making retarded mistakes, and players on the other team taking advantage of them, nothing more.

Well, no one picked all 4 right this week.  Looks like SD has about a min left to stay alive.

Edit: Cya San Diego!

Boy that was an ugly LT at the end of that game!  Just gave my oldest son a lesson on how NOT to lose, ungracefully, like he did.

Well I was wrong about the Bear Seattle game.
And wrong on the score.

But I was right on it being a close game.

I'll even go so far as to say the Bears earned that one

They still aint winning the Super Bowl though
