Does the Toyota come with a "At Least I Didn't Buy A Hummer" bumper-sticker as standard equipment?
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Hummer is nice to look at but wouldnt want to own one.

Just seems to scream "inferiority complex" to me
and most people that own them never bother to take them off road.
So whats the point

Besides. How many gallons to the mile does that thing get?

Rip, great looking truck! I really love my Xterra but I've been eying those new Toyota's. I would get one but the Xterra is paid off and only has 50K miles on it so I will keep her for a while longer.

Nice ride Rip; not sure why anyone would flame you. I just bought a Honda Passport yesterday, going to pick it up tomorrow, 55% domestically produced; the full size Dodge magnum quad cab I was looking at....*Made in Mexico! It's hard to say what is & what isn't considered "buying U.S.A." anymore with all the car companies from Japan moving here for production & all the car companies from here moving production to Mexico.

*Made in Mexico on the permanent label inside the door, not sure but I think that means 55% or more of the vehicle was produced in Mexico.

I was looking at the Xterra's too!  The eye appeal of the new FJ body just overpowered me even though the Xterra has more room inside.

H1 gets about 10 mpg average (overall driving)
H2 gets 12.5 mpg average
H3 is the competitor to the FJ Cruiser, it gets about the same overall mileage as the FJ, 18 mpg.

Don't mistaken this FJ Cruiser for a full sized SUV. It is not.  That said, there is plenty of room in the back seat for 3 full sized adults..and alot of head room. Getting in and out of the back with the suicide doors is not easy, if you're over 70 years old.

The important part is: I can fold down the rear seats and get all my photography equipment, tables, tent and sample pics with frames in it. That's the primary reason for buying it.  I didn't want a gas guzzler, got one already (F250 HD Supercab 8 ft bed)
