1.  Put only CHAMPION teams in playoffs, not wild card teams.  If odd number of leagues, figure out a way to make them even number.  Duh.

2.  Take the foot out of football point scoring.  Extra points are virtually automatic as are field goals within 30 yards; even 50 yarders are becoming expected.

a.  For extra points, teams should get one chance to score from the 10-yard line for one extra point, or one chance to score from the 30-yard line for two extra points.  

b.  No more field goals, period.  The game is about getting the ball over the goal line carried or caught by a human.  Extra points and field goals are just tie breakers.  In the unusual game where field goals are only score, that basically shows which team has the best kicker, and it's an 11-person team.  

c.  Kickers only kick off or punt.  That's enough involvement to retain the name Football.  American football is not Euro football, which is ironically called soccer which sounds more like what American football teams do to each other.

Game footage reviewed and uncalled penalties noted.  They review the refs don't they?  Well, would be nice if they kept tabs on the players...especially "unsportsmanlike conduct" incidents  out of the view of the refs.

That and cut down on the endzone dances.

I know it's not a "gentleman's game" but too many hotheads and showboaters out there these days...

Until the ball is thrown, the receiver is fresh meat.  But, hell, pass interference should be abolished anyways.  

Helmet to helmet contact is okay because they're both wearing helmets, for gawd's sake.

The head slap is once again a pass rushing technique, uh, because of the helmet thing again.

The QB slide should once again be an invitation to pile on.

1:Add 5 yards to the end-zone

2:No more touch backs...If ball sails past endzone,kicking team is penalized 10 yards and ball is re-punted.If kick is fielded in end zone it must be run out or it's a safety.

3:Add a Canadian team(Toronto)

4:Add white stripes to football(so u can better see those perfect spiral throws & kicks)

5:Allow offensive players to latch-on and push ball carriers(like rugby)..Whistle blown dead only when player is down.

6:Extra point (TD)kicked(or drop kicked) from longitudnal point from where player was downed in end-zone.(a-la rugby)

uh no.  you miss out on something like the steelers did last year...like it or not, it was something you never seen before...and it was exciting to watch.
