my sources say the air force provided the last speaker of the house with a C20 ( gulfstream 3) they told her office thats what they have, she said she wants a bigger plane because she has a bigger staff.

the plane she wants cost $10,000 hr to operate.

your tax money at work.

why not let her fly commercial?  she can take off her shoes and get searched and get to the airport an hour early like everyone else.

Sure, I've got plenty of extra ones from prior neocon blunders.

Well, I guess I should have saved all the ones from the Lib-er-uls. I could have paved my road to heck with them by now.

Oh, well... easy come, easy go. It's not like they're hard to find or anything.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

this is all BS.  G-III can make it D.C.-KSFO with an additional 1,000 some odd miles to spare.

Not me.  I whir up more outrage reading what you guys say than what politician's do.

They have an excuse: money, power, prestige.

We, here, are without excuse.  Pardoning those of course who were dropped on their heads when very young.

FWIW, Tony Snow says "get over it" as reported by that bastion of fairness Fox News.

All this is like "did you know he/she had waffles for breakfast!?"

What will the egg producers say???

maybe in perfect conditions, but what about into a 80kt headwind, with a lot of altitude changes for turbulence (& use of the speed brakes to get down to Va for the same reason) then shoot the Cat 3 approach into SFO, go missed due to the notorious SFO fog, fly to Sacramento & land with 45 minutes fuel after having to go around cause tom cruise cut them off on final in his P-51...
