Blender: updated AC3D import script
« on: February 23, 2007, 01:12:27 AM »
Hi

Thanks to the William. The author of the original Blender AC3D import script writer has done a new version.

This version can handle much better the AH  OE exported objects with 'juosten kustu' AC3D  format.

Know issues
The OE exported files like hqt0.ac with INF strings  still causes an error.

The '2.43.1 2007-02-21' version is available here
http://projects.blender.org/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/blender/release/scripts/ac3d_import.py?rev=1.21&cvsroot=bf-blender

The ctb12.acBlender screen shot(edit mode):

Remember to run that 'Remove Doubles' function and 1780 vertices will get removed... :huh

Thanks XJazz, I'm sure this will help a lot since recently for some reason the import script wouldn't work at all for me. It just wouldn't allow .ac files (Unless I made them with blender) to be imported.
