fw190D or Ta152

Unless you are planning on fighting at 20,000+ft or need long range the Fw190D-9 is better.

Ki84 or KI61

The only thing the Ki-61 can do better than the Ki-84 is dive.  The Ki-84 is vastly superior.

Ki67 or Ju88

If you are hitting hangars then the Ju88A-4 is better, in all other cases the Ki-67 is very much better.

Ju87 or the Val bomber

The Ju87D-2 is better than the D3A1 in all ways other than handling.


Serenity is an idiot to even think of giving advice when he knows he is so obviously biased.  If you can't separate your personal wishes from reality then you should refrain from pretending you know anything.

For all-around arena use the 190D9.  For high alt hunting the Ta152.  Actually the 190A8 is my favorite in this family.

Ju88 in my opinion but I don't use either very much.

Ju87 but I'm biased as I don't think I've ever flown the Val.
