That has been answered before. ToD is intended for a new audience.

Pyro. You guys are doing fine.

When I first started in AH After dealing with the clown for support at Kesmai/AW I was skeptical. And I could probably look up the posts to prove it.

Glad to say I've been proven wrong in spades

One thing I've learned in my time here is All the "Two Week" wisecracks aside is, as my mother used to say about dinner sometimes if she was making something fancy

"It will be ready when its ready."

Id rather have a product done right "two weeks" from now. Then have a half arsed slapped together and incomplete product right away.

Bout my only suggestion would be to throw the dogs a bone a little more often by way of screenshots or a new AC/GV/Skin set. or terrain just to keep em from howling too much

Actually...at the time, I stated that I believed that the current player base would have little intrest in such a structured game. IMO, I see ToD as only having limited success, at best. HOWEVER, HT sees potential there and he has a heck of a lot more business sense than me. :)

As for the "same ball game"... no way. I see it as poker versus solitare. They both use the same 52 card deck. But, they are in no way the same game.

So wtf is this voting on italian and russian/ jap planes.  It REALLY MAKES NO SENSE.     So my thought is.  Why dont yall do what you been saying you have been supposedly doing for the past years and actually finish it?  So sheesh figure out wtf you're doing.  TOD or random planes from BFE!

Managing expectations with a software development job is a black art just to the left of wide area networking (which is FAR to the left of pure Witchcraft).  They're doing fine.  You can only fly one airplane at a time, and I'm sure I haven't mastered them all.

I still like the idea of letting the community build models in a manner similar to skins.  IIRC the initial skinning was done by a few hand picked volunteers; the same could be done with modeling.  I suspect there's a bit of talent around here, though they waffle occasionally.  I KNOW there are people who can wrap the wires once someone makes them.  Then "new gadgets" only require performance models and approval testing.  NO idea if any of that is even feasible.

Oh, I LIKE that.  Ludicrous, but entertaining none the less.
