1. I was firing the 8" guns from 8-10k and when the shells hit the ground you could see the craters that they made but some times you could see the high plumes of smoke and debris to let you know wher your rounds were hitting and sometimes you couldn't. I never say any visual effects from long distances like you did before which I always felt the visuals from long distances were unusually small to begin with. You wold think the smoke and debris would go a couple hundred feet into the air. Very frustating.
2. Tried to run an lvt2 and the darn thing got stuck on the beach like it was still in water or something.
